The faqs of the event.
On the night of Thursday 14 January 2010, there was a series of footprints in the shoe size 44-46 showing up in a ring that goes between the statue and the one of the benches in the Wergelands Park, the tracks were full of blood.
- Shoe size matches the size of the feet of the statue.
- The red "blood" has been tested and it is established that it is blood, most likely from an animal
- An eyewitness reported seeing the statue missing from its spot and stood on the ground, while she was out on a fast stroll with her dog.
- Park Service in Kristiansand removed the tracks without any way to knowing if it could have been a crime that was the cause.
What it is we do not know, but we have gathered some of the theories that exist about it on the theories page that you will find in the menu, there is no guarantee that we will ever know the truth.
